The UBO & Ownership module consolidates ownership-related information for companies, based on what each jurisdiction legally publishes. When available, K-Check reconstructs corporate ownership layers to help users understand control relationships.
The module is designed to support compliance, risk assessment and group-structure analysis, without replacing legal or regulatory interpretations that depend on local rules.

Where official data contains sufficient detail, K-Check connects ownership entries across companies to form multi-level structures that indicate control paths.
These structures are derived strictly from published information. No assumptions, estimations or inferred relationships are added beyond what registers expose.
The result is a clear visual and data representation of ownership chains, which users can explore for due diligence or internal documentation.

Ownership and UBO information comes exclusively from official registers or legally defined public disclosures. Each ownership entry references its jurisdiction and publication source where possible.
Update frequency varies significantly between countries, depending on legal requirements for reporting ownership changes.
Limitations and variations across jurisdictions
