What this module provides
The Monitoring & Alerts module allows users to follow important changes in company records as they are published by official sources. It helps teams maintain up-to-date files, portfolios and risk assessments.
Monitoring is based solely on publicly exposed data points and reflects the publication rules of each jurisdiction.
What can be monitored
Depending on country and data availability, monitoring may include:
- Changes in company status (active, inactive, dissolution stages)
- Updates to legal form or registered details
- New filings or official announcements where registers publish them
- Insolvency notices or restructuring events that are publicly available
- Selected financial or operational indicators when registers provide periodic updates
Types of alerts
Alerts are generated when a monitored data point changes. They are delivered in the platform interface and can also be consumed through the API.
Each alert includes the previous and new value when available, as well as references to the underlying source or publication.
How monitoring works
Monitoring jobs run at jurisdiction-specific intervals that correspond to how often registers publish updates. These intervals vary across countries and depend on the nature of each data source.
K-Check does not infer or estimate missing updates. Only officially exposed changes trigger alerts.
Limitations and data-availability notes
Some jurisdictions publish changes frequently, while others update only at fixed intervals or do not expose relevant fields at all. Monitoring coverage therefore varies by country.
If a data point is not publicly available in a given jurisdiction, it cannot be monitored. These constraints are documented in the coverage section.
Integration with other modules
Monitoring builds on data provided by the Profiles, Risk Indicators, Ownership and Courts modules. Alerts reflect changes in any data point these modules expose.
This makes monitoring an essential layer for maintaining ongoing oversight of customers, suppliers, partners or portfolio companies.
